Are All Detox Footspas the Same?
The simple answer is NO! While there is often a similarity in appearance,
don’t presume that the quality of the components are the same.
Many cheap footspas are imported from overseas, and do not comply with
Australian electrical standards. They may be assembled on someone’s
kitchen bench, by an unqualified technician. There are different rules
for advertising in Asia, and no legal accountability for false advertising.
If anything goes wrong with one of these machines, it is also hard to
get them repaired or buy the spare parts in Australia. Even some of
the screws are unavailable here.
The second issue is that they may not hold the correct voltage. A
lot of cheaper footspas have incorrect voltage transformers, that can
change the colour of the water, but may not be sufficient to actually
ionically charge the water. Many footspa sellers do not even know that
there is a scientifically correct voltage.
We often have people buying the Ezy
Detox™ Footspa, when they can’t get their
cheaper footspa repaired. Ezy Detox
Footspa’s have been successfully used in clinics around Australia
for several years.
